Anders Lund was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and started racing for Ordrup Cycle Club. As a teenager he joined Team PH where he rode alongside current Team Saxo Bank members Matti Breschel and Chris Anker Sørensen.
Anders showed very promising results as a junior rider finishing second and the junior World Championship in 2003. In 2005 Anders finished second in both the U23 European Championship and U23 Liege-Bastogne-Liege.
In 2007 Anders joined Team Saxo Bank where he today is a very valuable member of the team.
Anders took the time to chat with 602nds after Stage 4 of the 2010 Tour Down Under in Adelaide, South Australia.
